Each year at the end of the school year, The Philadelphia Dance Academy holds a Showcase in which the majority of our students perform. This is an opportunity for family and friends to witness how much our students have learned over the course of the year. Through performing in the Showcase, participants are able to gain an appreciation for the time and effort involved in preparing for a show. Performing with fellow students is an invaluable experience for young dancers.
This year we celebrate our 12th anniversary of this wonderful production! This year’s chosen ballet is Cinderella. All ballet classes will perform excerpts from this ballet, and our Contemporary Dance classes will perform pieces inspired by Cindrella's Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Fairies. All Theater Dance classes will perform excerpts from the musical Annie.
The Philadelphia Dance Academy is located in the heart of Old City and is home to The Philadelphia Youth Ballet, our youth performance company. Our goal is to provide professional training in a positive environment for students of all levels.
